The hotel Hermitage was built in 1953 as a summerhouse for the Pardini's family in an untouched natural environment which could be reached only by boat.
In 1956 the family decided to share this enchanted place with paying guests and this is still what it is now, not reachable by car and a family house more than a traditional hotel.
If you accept this simplicity and appreciate  the peace that  it gives,  you will understand  which was the original idea of Frediano Pardini: "sole e mare in pace e libertà" (sun and sea in peace and freedom) .This concept of a vacation far from noise and the frenzy of modern life is still alive at the Hermitage of today run with love and attention by Federigo Pardini and his wife Barbara.
